Kelly Slater wins world title number 11 and again renders the rest of the world tour events for 2011 as dead rubbers. The double irony here is that the last nail in the coffin of the ASP was delivered by the guy that has won it 11 times during the 'search' event held in the USA. Pretty sure the only thing Rip Curl were searching for were more customers on the west coast of the USA.
