Here they are team, the latest attempts to breathe life into the tired old genre of the surf film, coming to a cinema near you:

SURF CRAAAZY!!!! Basically your standard guy and girl body changover story. So Steph Gilmore and Parko (or Fanning if there is an angle for a Rip Curl exclusive here) are out surfing by themselves on a remote peak in Indo when a meteor crashes in the water between them. They are both stunned and awake to discover that each is in the other's body. WHAAAAT?

I know, massive scope for hijinxs and scenes when Parko in Steph's body feels down and starts playing wth her boobs etc etc.

Steph ends up at a lap dancing bar in Parko's body and blah blah blah. anyhoo I think this one has real legs so hit me up for the full treatment, happy to go ghost writer for you on that one.

After that you need something a little more arthouse...

SURF SISTERZ So some strong David Lynch influences over a standard Blue Crush style girls surfing in Hawaii vomit. Kick of the opening scene with some gas station attendant with facial disfigurement dancing in the middle of screen as a carload of various unknown top 10 female surfers dressed in tank tops and denim shorts pull up and start dancing with him.

Proto lesbian scene when someone bumps against the other in the toilets blah blah. If one of the surfers you end up using can sing a little then we can do a bar scene where she hops up in the middle of some oddly over populated bar in the middle of the desert and does a Coyote Ugly scene thing, then in the car talks about wanting to dance and sing when she grows up and other crap like that.

As they drive in the night they go past a car crash and find a girl dying, makes them thing about life and junk...anyhoo they get to California, guys dont like them surfing out with them blah blah but on the biggest day only the girls are brave enough to go out, get the best waves and they guys like them and stuff. Towards the end, one of the girls from the lesbian scene near the start is attracted to one surfer and during the final clambake on the beach scene when all of the girls hook up with the guy surfers. Turns out that the guy she likes is really a girl pretending to be a guy so its okay and junk. In the final scene everyone sees them together and goes like ...."Ahhhhhh,now it all makes sense!"

Probably good scope for some lame girl band to do the soundtrack, though you may have a few in mind from the ASL monthly DVD soundtracks. Happy to go 50/50 on merchandise and clothing spinoffs. Probably scope for a GSI popout out 'girl power' board as well.
