The Wild Coast remains a relatively untouched paradise in South Africa. A rugged African coastline, where waterfalls tumble and large rivers flow into the sea. It consists of unspoilt stretches of coastline that hold many secret surfing offerings to the travelling surfer. A lot of the coastline requires hiking in which is a means to escape crowds. The most well-known surfing area is around Coffee Bay.
Perhaps the most notable landmark is the birthplace of former President Nelson Mandela.
