Tutuila is the largest island of American Samoa and the third largest island in the Samoan Islands chain. It is mainly known for its large, natural harbobur - Pago Pago Harbour - on which the capital of American Samoa, Pago Pago, is located.
Tutuila has an area of 141.81 kilometres squared and a population of 56,000 inhabitants.

Tutuila provides quite a few comfortable hotels, motels and lodges. There are no camping sites, though private accommodation arrangements can be made with village chiefs or landowners.
