The main island of Anguilla, also named Anguilla is a sound location to base yourself for a surf exploration of the area. The Valley which is the capital to the north offers sound lodgings. Hurricane swell is the event to watch for here, rare points will spring to life in such conditions - plenty of reefs to keep you busy exploring during trade wind swell as well in between hurricane disasters.
