This is the thin edge of the wedge that is the brave new frontier of surfing. Sub Zero water temps, the only thing preventing the surf from freezing being salinity; surf wax that comes as a liquid in room temperature and deep diving drysuits are merely a few of the items within the Antarctic surfers inventory. The window is narrow, the dangers constant, the rewards...inexorable.
