Saint Kitts is the larger of the two islands that make up the small island of Saint Kitts and Nevis. It has a population of around 35,000 inhabitants, majority of which are of African descent. The primary language is English, with a literacy rate of approximately 98%. Residents call themselves Kittitians.
The island is located at about 2,100 km southeast of Miami, Florida, in the United States. It has an area of about 68 168 km² and is in a shape of 29 kilometres by 8 kilometres.

Being in Saint Kitts and Nevis, you would want to live in the capital city, Basseterre. It is the busiest city on the island and contains a cruise port and airport.
