There are many options available in this province. You may want to stay in hotels or vacation homes. Vacation homes are slightly cheaper than hotels and could give you more of a feel of the culture of the country. Staff may not be too familar with the english language though, so knowing Spanish would be ideal!
Costa Rica is a great place to learn Spanish as the "ticas" have a dialect that is easy to understand for someone just learning! If you do not know Spanish, try to stay at a vacation home and the friendly staff are usually more than willing to help!
