Anyone used the wax that the site sells? Any good?

Your Fresh Out of Friends Cowboy

I got my signup tins of wax Trying base coat warm water. overrubbed by cool Huey (Aussie name for surf god) has generated an East Coast low here in Australia they can be as fierce as a Hurricane or as we call them here Cyclones. This one is not but my local is looking to a 3 to 4 metre SE swell meeting NW wind ideal for my spot. Promises a 200 metre long wax testing pleasure machine.

The other questions you ask 50ft swell in southern ocean pulses towards Western Australia and generates the power of WA up to Indo. oOn the east Coast a tongue of the swell might pass up the Tasman up to Sydney just before the swell sneaks under New Zealand.Bass Strait pulls and magnifies the lines into Bells in Victoria and other Vicco spotsOnce out of Bass Strait to the East, North of Gabo Island is called the paddock by sailing ship as they could tack 90 degrees north out of the roaring forties.Look at Bass Strait it is a swell funnel to the West coast of the south Island of New Zealand serious ship breakers in that lane!!! Tankers gone missing no longer producing bow wavessurprise link to another post of yours Shipstern,, Sou sou east coast of Tasmania cops the side spill when these systems pass further south.Waxed on enough now.wicked

Happy old fart!

Actual wax comments. Used tropic down here in almost Mexico for a hard base coat, application felt crumbly but went on feels sticky but not too much. Surfed well the softer waxes tend to ball up under my back foot when I turn (none of that). Only loo lozenge smell.Longinus mentioned the wax in Real surf forums and the smell. I tried mixing it with my home grown bees wax. My 60000 female slaves and I reckon this improved an already good product.:

Great stuff Jaffa, thanks for the feedback on that. Yeah, I think that we will be investigating a 'green' fragrance for the next edition of wax. The natural smell might be free of additives but people are just used to something a little more pleasant. Elves...back to work!! big_smilebig_smile

..Do not try...do..

Saw the price come down on the wax recently - nice move. Should get a few people interested into trying it out, it really is the business IMO
