We had a really good day on Tue. with head high + waves from the S with a NNW wind in the 10 mph range early in the morning and gusting into the 20 to 30 mph range later in the day. The waves were best early with the lighter winds, but plenty of waves all day. Now it is back to flatness and it looks like we have N winds all the way through Sun. so no surf till these N winds back off.Pensacola barrel

The surf is trying to build back up after several days of flatness. The marine forecast is calling for SE winds in the 10 to 15 mph range for the next couple of days and the buoys are reading in the 6 ft. range so the surf should build and get better later today and into tomorrow. Maybe we will have surf into the weekend but it looks as if we will be back to flatness by Sun. The weather is starting to warm up along with the water temp. so we have that going for us. Other than that make the most of it.gulf coast on March 10, 2010

We had a bit of surf through the weekend and Mon, now it is back to flat with N winds and rain today. Looks like more N winds through Fri. then the chance for a nice SE swell on Sat. and possibly epic conditions on Sun. with the winds clocking back around to the NW.
