1% For The Planet A percentage of all of our profits are donated to this organisation to support environment focused projects worldwide.

Surf Aid International One of the most prolific of all surf related charities. Surf Aids work in remote parts of Indonesia such as the Mentawis is of prime importance and interest to our online community.

The Carbon Reduction Institute Surfing Atlas is a Carbon Neutral Business, we offset all of the emissions that are produced in offering The Atlas to you as a surf exploration tool.

Formed in 2007, we are proud to offer the most complete, international premium surf travel product available today. A percentage of all profits are donated to surfing and environment focused charities worldwide. The bulk of the remainder goes to fund up and coming surf photographers and journalists alike in supporting the international surfing industry, concurrently providing our community with ongoing premium content.

Unfortunately we cant do this without your help as the users and community that Surfing Atlas serves. We made a very strict business decision when forming Surfing Atlas that it was vital we remained an independent voice within the surfing Industry. Whilst we do offer corporate advertising options on the site, they are very minor in comparison to those offered by our competitors. The benefit is hopefully a more rewarding experience as a community end user, an experience free from annoying popups and floods of ads. We are committed to continually improving this experience and request your help to do so.

There are a range of subscription options available to suit your individual budget. Each comes with a collection of Premium Surfing Atlas travel products which we hope will enhance your next surf travel experience. Subscribing also grants you the opportunity to contribute to the Atlas in your own way, whether it be to upload your own imagery, add spots discovered in your latest trip or to make comment or suggestion within the Atlas to fellow surfers and travelers.

There will be both a paddle in and tow in section of the competition. Due to the extreme nature of mattress paddling in surf over 20 feet, all competitors are advised to exercise extreme caution when participating in this challenge
