general information
A world class freight train lefthander breaking in the Mundaka river mouth and home to the ASP world tour once a year. Its a long hollow wave that flicks out a good barrel and usually best in the Autumn time after the sandbank has had time to build all summer long. Holds swell up 12ft+ and can have a powerful rip pushing out to sea. Its a consistent wave through autumn and winter but don't count on it working in the summer time. When it's on it will be extremely busy and parking is non-exhistant, though the village itself is still unspoilt by all the attention it recieves due to this great wave.
There are surf shops and accommodation near by including camping grounds.
