An excellent right hand point next to a groyne situated just south of Figueira on the rivermouth. Long, hollow and fast rides on offer starting with a wedgey takeoff spot. For experienced surfers only due to the heaviness of the waves and strong rips that are present during large swells. It has been site of a few World Championship Tour events in the past. It does get busy and pollution can be a bit of a worry here. There are plenty of amenities nearby.
