general information

This is a long cresent shaped beach located a short walk north from the village of Famara. It's pretty consistent and can have some good banks offering quality, punchy beach break rides. It's also one of the only beach breaks on this island of reefs and for that reason this is where you'll find most of the surf schools come to, to teach. It works on all stages of the tide and is well protected from north and northeasterly winds from the mountains range it is tucked under. It can get rippy when big so watch out for that and it's long and peaky enough to handle crowds.
