general information
Definitely one of the jewels of the South Western Australian Crown. World renowned, world class and even worldly in the cultural respect given the regional glut of top shelf vineyards.
But that is beside the point when Margerats is on, which is relatively often, depending on your personal preference and overall benchmark for quality. From two to three feet to twelve to fifteen feet you will always find something surfable, above average, very good or absolutely perfect. Consistent quality are two adjectives always asociatec with Margerats as you will always find something worthwhile getting wet for.
Predominately a left but also has a short sharp and occasionally bowling right hander when the swells is between two to eight feet and dependant on swell direction. Expect crowds and you will not be disappointed, but also the waves can be just as fun when onshore so it is possible to get some heavy drops and very chunky walls without too many crew out there.
