Another spot that needs a good northwest blow to pitch up peaky windswell waves. This was one of the first waves to be ridden in the area and is great for beginners taking to the sea with a board for the first time. The pier offers protection from the brunt of the neccessary wind and helps to break up the strong cross shore drifts you get in this area.
