This spot can be busy due to its proximity to Amsterdam, it receives protection from a long harbour wall and requires a northwest swell to produce standard beachbreak walling waves, which are often a bit onshore and mushy, though it can produce the goods in an easterly wind. It's set in industrial type surroundings.
