general information

If you head left from Byron town along the beach or road, this area is called Belongil. SWand banks need to be in good shape but there is often a decent wave along this streach. It is a case of walking along the beach or driving down behind the old Arts Factory and checking for waves.

Higher tide and southerly winds are the best time, especially if there is more than a couple of feet of swell. Due to it being a bit out of town you can get uncrowded waves here.

Worth a look.
