Down the open beach from Tallows towards Suffolk Park is Dolphins. Follow any of the streets on the southern side of Byron Town to the beach and run over the dunes.
Reliant on sand banks and wind, you can score a good wave to yourself if you are in the right place at the right time.
Check it on smaller swells when the wind has west in it.
