general information

Boulders beach is the next bay south of Lennox, on the road to Ballina. Easy to find, just turn off as you start going up the hill towards Sharpes Beach, it is a small sealed road that goes 100m to a car park and lone house.

The wave is a right hand point, not as long as Lennox but still a lot of fun. Does rely on good sand banks but usually has something worth surfing on a SW to SE wind and a bit of swell. The wave can be hollow and fast, often close to rocks. Not recommended for beginners.

Acess is either via a long paddle from the beach or paddle out the key hole next to the take off. Needs to be timed well to prevent being washed onto the 'boulders'.

Crowds can get intense on weekends and holidays.
