general information

Missingham Bridge is the bridge linking Ballina and East Ballina. It is also where North Creek and the Richmond River join. Easy to find as the wave is on the ocean side of the bridge.

Mostly a novelty wave that breaks when the open beaches are maxing out, it can produce a cruising left and right that are ideal for a much around or for the learner. The only thing to watch is that as you are in the river, there will be the odd boat going past and as the tide moves in or out it can create a rip. Keep an eye on your position.

A good little afternoon session or desperate session when there is nothing surfable.
