The 'Palace' is one of the best hotels in Oman and the entire Middle East and as you would expect for something that costs a few hunderd US dollars per day it has it's own wave. When the swell is up the locals will stand gob smacked as you cruise across 2-3 feet of crumbly chop with the wind in your hair.

 A few times each year you can expect a significant SE groundswell that will light up the sleeping reef to the south of the beach break. This is neat little right hander better suited to longboards. Your standard air matress should see you through the rest of the year however. Access is strictly for paying guests but you can bet you will be the only surfer staying there. VIVA OMAN!
