general information

About 15 minutes north of Wollongong, along Point St at Bulli you will find Sandon Point, the regions most well known break. A long, often fast point break that holds swells up to 10ft. A good right for intermediate to experienced surfers that can produce long rides on the right day.

Paddle out involves a jump from the rocks or a LONG paddle from the beach and needs to be approached with care. Best to watch a few locals take it on first to get the feel. Wave is fast with a few sections so you will need to get a few under your belt before you can work it out.

Crowd wise, there is often quite a crew out there, some of the locals can get a bit agro if they are being hassled so just hang back and wait your turn.
