general information

North Avalon is the north end of Avalon Beach and offers a bit of variety. The rocky left 'point' can get very good in NE swells and the beach break tends to produce peaks in other swells.

If you score the lefts you are in for a good session, long walls and plenty of sections make it a fun wave. Keep an eye out for the rocks on the inside. On big NE swells North Av has been know to produce quality waves but the paddle and rip means you need to have peak fitness and skill to surf here.

Crowds are common and most are locals so be nice! Keep an eye on North Av if you are in the area, it is worth being out there when it is on!
