general information
Avoided at all costs by surfers paddling out into the bay but avidly sought by bodyboarders seeking a slice of insta-death. An easy paddle out I guess if you can call hurling yourself into the shore rip a paddle. Then strap yourself in for one of the sets that fails to break in the bay come ratcheting through into the shorebreak. Enjoy the 6 foot freefall which will hopefully result in a short bottom turn before the entire wave throws over your head. At a time frame varying from between .5 to 7 seconds later - the entire north pacific will fold over your head and drive coarse grained sand into the very pores of your skin.
