Also known as Chilean Pipeline, El Gringo is not for the faint hearted. Tyically a solid left hander offering an occasional right in optimal conditions. This wave offers the intensity of it's Hawaiian namesake with a fraction of the crowd, albeit at about 20 degrees cooler temperatures as well. The whole Chilean coast here is a true surfing wonderland, just bring everything that you have made of rubber - cold water all year round.
