general information

A heavy and thick barreling wave often compared to Shark Island. The reef is shallow and sharp with urchins and barnacles thrown into the mixture for good measure. It's not often too crowded and is regularly surfed by a small but friendly crew. It's best in a northeast to east swell when it will pitch out a square jawed barrel and is only for the most confident of surfers. It will also work on a south swell when it may be a litttle more forgiving.
