Bellambi point is a good quality steady point break offering a short left and a much longer right. It's a pretty mellow longboarder kinda wave and has a friendly local community of riders of the longer variety. It receives some protection from south winds and is easily found just to the north of the fishing boat ramp in front of the swimming pool. On bigger easterly swells there is a bommie about 200 metres out slightly to the north of the point break which can pitch out good hollow left handers.
