general information

Right out front of the Lake Illawarra inlet on the north side of Windang Island is a patchy reef break about a hundred metres offshore known as Sharkies. It can offer quality peaks with good rights and lefts and gets some south wind protection from Windang. It's never really crowded and parking is easy in the small carpark on the south side of the lake entrance in front of the dunes.
