general information

Rennies beach offers a few good options for all levels of surfer when small, and some classic waves for the experienced surfer when big. Consistent rights and lefts break in almost any swell and northeast winds are offshore, making it a preferred destionation in the summer afternoon.

At the south end, a fast right hander breaks over a sand covered rock-reef, which works best in a southeast swell. In the middle are left and rights break over sandbanks that can produce long peeling waves when the conditions are right. At the north end a sucky right breaks over a rock-reef that prefers a northeast swell.
