general information

Bawley Point can be a real test of skill and courage when its big. A northeast swell or huge southeast will wrap around the razor sharp slab and translate into a fast and powerful barrel, not for the faint hearted as the takeoff is nail bitingly close to the dry slab. It will hold surf up to 4m+ and best in a westerly wind. Be prepared for a strong sweep current and long hold downs if you fade.
