general information
Another fickle yet unforgettable wave, it works once in a blue moon when, at low tide and the banks are right during a big, clean northeast swell you'll get fast crystal clear barrels racing down the sandbank for hundreds of metres, as good as anything Australia has to offer. It's rated as high difficulty not for its danger but for how hard it is to keep up with this wave once inside and racing the curtain for your exit - which can take a long time - if you're lucky. No need to practice those turns for this wave, you'll need to trim for speed all the way.
