general information

Lorne is a beautiful town on the Great Ocean Road and a popular spot for tourists to spend a night or two. There are some great riverside campsites and good hotels. There beach break here can be good in glassy swells if the banks are good and on smaller days it's a great place for learners. It gets plenty of protection from winds from the western quadrant right around to the south due to the huge headland.
