general information

Basically from Lorne westwards the surf options thin out a little bit as sandy beaches and points give way to steep cliffs and beautiful scenery that makes for an awesome drive, though do ignore your passengers ooohs and aaahhhhs and keep one eye on the road as it can be dangerous and it's a long way down to the water if you come off the road here. There are a few possible breaks that may tempt you to stop en route for a quick solo surf, namely, Jamieson Rivermouth, Cumberland Rivermouth the Wye River and Kennet. These all have small rivermouth beaches that might get good from time to time, sorry do get good from time to time, just keep your eyes peeled as you drive around and you might find a gem or two........
