general information
A heavy big wave spot that certainly isn't for the faint of heart!! It works best on a solid winter south swell combined with northwesterly winds at all tides. It'll have a wave on it from just a few feet when it will be popular with surfers and bodyboarders of all standard from intermediate upwards but when the more epic swells come in it really sorts the men out from the boys as this place will hold in excess of 20ft, and still be sucky and gnarly. It has been towed into in the past.
