general information

Backbeach is the south side of the popular and famous Angourie Point. Although not the same quality as The Point, back beach is a great place to head when the wind has north in it making the popular waves wind blown.

There is the odd left of the end of the headland but the beach breaks tend to be the best option. Waves can get good, especially in small to medium swells. Worth a look on those summer NE days.
