general information

Punchy A-frame peaks over shifty sand banks is what you'll find at Redgate Beach. The banks flick up these peaks into peachy beach break barrels, the best time to check it is on a small to mid sized clean swell from the southwest with east winds. It's about as close as you're gonna get to a beginners break around these parts, but it's still pretty punchy even for that and the rips can be strong too.
