general information
This spot is located at the rocky point on the northern tip of Half Moon Bay, it offers up a fast and punchy left hander that will start to work around chest high, any smaller and it's too shallow over the boulder reef. The wave wraps into the bay with a sucky takeoff and barrel sections, on it's day a magical and uncrowded surf spot. The whole bay is a paradise setting surrounded in forest and small rugged cliffs. It also has a white sand beach and some awesome snorkelling reefs, huge barracuda! Access is via a 20 minute walk north and east around the bay from the sandy carpark. You can see the wave from your car to see if it's worth the walk.
