general information
A-Bay is one of the more famous Sri Lankan waves. It's a long, sometimes very long righthand performance wave with good quality walling and fast barrel sections. It breaks over a reefy seabed and is a good fun wave for intermediate surfers upwards. Breaks on all tides with a southeast swell and west is best for winds.
