general information

A ledgy and powerful short left hand bommie located off the beach north of Arugam Bay before you get to Potuvil. It breaks over reef at low tide and is best left to more experienced surfers and bodyboarders. It needs one of Sri Lankas bigger swells to work, around 6-8ft when it will flick up a short sucky ride and northwest winds are offshore. Don't know why it's called Gaza Strip, might be something to do with all the Israeli surfers!!
