general information

Shelly Beach is one of the most reliable breaks on the coast here. A nice open protruding sand / reef combo that picks up any available swell from the NE through to the S. The break offers a selection of often superior banks and an occasional left hander ratcheting of the reef to the north in a NE swell. Very popular with the locals. One to sample very early in the morning before the kids and gromitts pack up their playstations and all get amongst it.
