general information
Typically surfed only in the southern Hemisphere summer (Dec-Feb) due to the freezing water temperatures. The breaks here have a fairly wide swell window but suffer the typical fate of easterly facing coastline in the arrival of regular swell from passaging systems. Atlantic Hurrican swell can be a rare but welcome visitor by the time it reaches this distant shoreline.
