general information
This stretch of coastline used to have rich pickings for the surfer, unfortunatly irresponsible coastal development has ruined many breaks. Also, this area has been very over fished which is the possible cause for hungry sharks turning to human prey in more recent years. Due to the frequent number of shark attacks surfing from Olinda to Porto de Suape has been outlawed!!
