general information

An uninhabited island in the middle of the Indian OCean is the stuff that legends are made of. This break is no exception. Located below The Maldives, Egmont Island and the prime southern point, Silver Dawn is a gutsy peaking reef break that rips over living coral before closing itself out in the nether of the shallows. Rarely surfed due to sheer isolation but a real gem in this fantastic past of the unknown surfing globe.
