general information

Anegada Island is one of the most exposed islands in the BVI and the northern shore here has excellent exposure to all transiting swell systems in the North Atlantic. Loblolly Bay is an excellent set up consisting of several banks of reefs that work on a variety of swell vectors. Typically there will be at least one of the breaks working on any swell with a northerly vector to it.

Length of ride can vary significantly depending on which reef is working but in clean conditions, 50-100 metres is the norm. A boat helps to move around the reefs, the paddle can be horrible in any conditions involving  some size - help can be a long way from immediate reach as well.
