La Jetée is a righthand big wave spot for experienced surfers only. It wants a thumping, clean south to southwest swell and northeasterly winds to work to full potential. From here east there are more good surf spots but but sharky scale starts to rise even more so and there are reported attacks, surf at you own risk.
