general information

Bar Beach blend into Dixon Park around midway through this stretch and then becomes Merewether at the southern end of the stretch.

Bar beach is a strong collection of beach break peaks that work well in medium swells from the NE to the SE, anything larger will stretch the abilities of the banks and send you to either the northern point (Bar Beach Reef) or to the south (Ladies) depending on the swell direction.

Clean surface conditions a must to really maximise the most from this break.
