general information
A good quality peak that offers a left and right barrel in optimum conditions. It breaks over a well formed sandbank right in front of an old rotting shipwreck on the beach, hence the name. This spot is a little wind sensitive so it's best checked early in the morning before heading off elsewhere to surf later in the day. Mid sized clean southwesterly swells are best with northeast winds being the best.
