general information
The collective name given to the series of 5 main breaks that comprise the Uluwatu area. Steeped in surfing lore, Uluwatu was first surfed by Steve Cooney and Rusty Miller in 1971 and has remained a legendary venue within the world of surfing.
This is the first left hander on the Bukit Peninsula and also the most crowded. If it's flat at Ulu's its going to be flat everywhere. With 5 main breaks to choose from; in order from south to north, Temples, The Bombie, The Peak, Outside Corner and The Racetrack; there is generally something for everyone and at least one of the breaks will be firing on any given tide.
Try staying close to the action at the neighbouring resorts or get up for the absolute dawn patrol to maximise your wave ration. It doesen't get any better than this.
