Ni Hao The silver dragon certainly describes this the biggest tidal bore on the planet.It is in the Qiantang River in Zhejiang Province 180 Kms southwest of Shanghai major city of Hangzhou Pop.3.9 million no surfers YET.3It has been surfed three times at time of writing.There is a festival in the eighth lunar month to watch the tide thousands line the river bank and many get washed in.This happens around the 18th of August or September.
